Some Universal Policies
Absences:
More than 15 absences in any class will result in 0 credits for that class.
Come to class every day and pay attention to your absences.
Tardies:
You must be on time to class every day.
2 tardies= S in citizenship
3 tardies= S- in citizenship
4 tardies= a referral and a call home
5 tardies= a U in citizenship resulting in disqualification form extracurricular activities.
Late Work:
If your work is late, please communicate with me. Your point value will be decreased (unless your absence was excused). You can only turn in late work until it’s graded and passed back. At that time you will receive a 0.
Respect:
This is my most valued rule and acts as a broad umbrella that covers all others.
Please consider your actions, the words you say and your behavior. Think before you act and ask yourself if you are acting in a respectful manner. If I have to ask, there will be consequences for thoughtlessness and disrespect.
This can be easily avoided with some self-awareness.
